Miss Eze made work to win
Trainer Paul Cashman was slightly emotional, for understandable reasons, following Miss Eze s win in the Caulfield Industrial Athlone Handicap at Galway today, providing Michael Hussey with his first Galway winner this year.
The daughter of Danehill Dancer was well off the pace in the early stages but flew home to eventually get her head in front close home, for a short head win over He's Got Rhythm
Afterwards Cashman Trainer Paul Cashman dedicated Miss Eze's win to his late father Liam saying “the boss man (his recently deceased father Liam) bought Miss Eze and deserves the credit for today's win as he was such a great judge of horses.”
He added “Miss Eze will run again on Thursday in a similar handicap and should win again!”
