Patrick McGettigan registered his second success, as he guided the Johnny Murtagh-trained Sevensees (9/4) to victory in the Coors Handicap.

A month on from his breakthrough win at the Curragh, the Co Donegal teenager was again seen to good effect.

Soon in a share of the lead, the 78-rated victor was pushed along and gained a definite advantage with a furlong and a half to go.

Ridden from the furlong pole, the Any Excuse For A Holiday Syndicate-owned bay found plenty for pressure and was a length and a quarter clear at the line.

Returned at 7/1, Dontspoilasale finished second under Jamie Powell for Adrian McGuinness, while turned out again quickly after filling the runner-up spot at the Curragh on Saturday, Harry's Hill (11/8f) was another length and three quarters back in third.

"Second winner and I can't say enough thank you's to Johnny and everyone at home for giving me the opportunities they have," McGettigan commented.

"I don't have my licence too long, so it is great to get on good horses like these.

"He was drawn one on the day he won with Rory (Mulligan) in Tipperary - he made the running, it was very easy and he bolted up.

"Same kind of plan here today, drawn one. Make all and hopefully don't get caught, keep him up against the rail. He relishes that soft ground.

"He (Murtagh) did (have a good chat beforehand), he's not here today as he's at the Sales."
