Farrell scores with Feis Ceoil
Padraig Beggy recorded his first winner as a fully fledged jockey when winning the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden aboard the Bill Farrell trained Feis Ceoil
Beggy produced the Key Luck filly to lead one furlong from home and the pair kept on gamely to post a four and a half length win over Ice Empress
Winning trainer Farrell said afterwards: “She deserved the win, she has been consistent and she’s improving all of the time.”
“I didn’t think she’d handle the ground but she handled it really well.”
“It’s great for Padraig [Beggy] who recently lost his claim.”
