I didn't say it at the time but I thought Noel O'Brien (handicapper) was very hard on him and I didn't think he'd good enough to win today. We bypassed a run last week to come here as this was a nice pot and he might be a horse for a Galway Hurdle in time, off a light weight. He's only a handy horse and it'd be a waste of time running him on winter ground . he'd have his arse kicked by soft ground horses! He could run at Dundalk though.

We made it as he had no gallop recently and he's too honest and very hard on himself. He likes this place, it's a pity it is so far away! . He'd be a summer horse and he'll go to Dundalk for the winter. He might go for a winners race in Galway, that track might suit him. He would be for sale but he's keeping us smiling. He's named after our neighbour down the road.

He is a very good horse if he can be kept right. He pulled a muscle at Limerick on his second run, and then I thought he was right for Listowel but he finished lame. John Warwick got him right.
