The spoils in this 50 to 70 affair, eventually went the way of Colin Bowe's Tawseef under Ian Queally.

The rogues gallery at Tramore contains many's the mugshot and while possibly unfair to place Blue Right Lane in that category, the gelding's seventh career win, in the Assembly Techniques Weekend Jolly Handicap, was in no small part due to the idiosyncrasies of the racecourse.

We thought she got to the front too soon the last day even though she won, so we said we'd produce her later today. She is very, very genuine and I thought a genuine horse would win this race. I was touch and go about whether or not to run her. I said she wasn't running on Wednesday night, but I took a chance and thank God the rain came when it did.

I knew we had her back in good form and she was back to a mark she had a chance to win from. I was slightly worried about the ground but the lads said it was on the dead side of good which was just right for her.

I'm delighted with that, especially for her owner Peter Commane. He puts his heart and soul into it and does all the race planning for her. She won well and deserved it. She's very well bred. Her dam (Danse Royale) is half sister to Marju and Salsabil. Her dam herself won a Group 3. Obviously she doesn't mind the ground and hopefully she'll pick up another one. She will probably stay in training as a five-year-old.
