He's a good tough horse. His brother was a lovely horse and unfortunately we lost him last winter,. This lad is hard on himself and he's a hard horse to train, he's not an easy ride and Martin Mooney does a great job on him at home trying to keep a lid on him. Seven furlongs and stepping him up in class where there are fewer runners suits him and going round a bend suits him. Ideally he wants soft ground so they've done a fantastic job here on the ground. He's just tough out and gets that trip really well, he's really a proper miler but he doesn't help himself. We'll make it up as we go along and he'll tell us. Ideally his season might cool down now and we'll look at the autumn. He has a little issue with his wind and we try and rectify that this time of year every year. You're always looking at Champions Weekend and working from there. I had planned on giving him a semi-break as he's hard on himself.

He had the class in the race. Going into the race we would have been very confident over seven furlongs. He loves that ground and it's a nice track to get a trip. He got an easy lead and Colin used his head to get a couple of lengths at the start. We were always going to get the trip doing that. He did it well. We had a nice winner for Newtown Anner yesterday (Thunder Kiss) and again today so long may it last. It's a nice way to end the season with him. He is a brother to Maker Of Kings so he will be a nice horse to look forward to next year as well.

He's a real good fun horse and we'll pick our races with him during the season,. He's not ground dependent but he doesn't mind that ground. He's a very honest horse to go and do that from the front, they were all hard at it behind him. Hopefully he could even strengthen up next year. He's a half-brother to Maker Of Kings and if he progresses like him you never know what could happen.

He’s a genuine horse that is after progressing from two to three. He has a nice pedigree, likes that ground and will get a bit further. He was gelded after his last run and we left him out to grow through the winter which is what he’s done. Colin said he was a bit slow away but it was his first time away this spring so hopefully he will improve from it. We’ve got the maiden out of the way and we’ll see where we go with him now.
