That's nice. He was over in England for a year and dropped a bit in the ratings,. He didn't win over there and they tend to drop them quicker than they do over here. That was the winning of the race. He had been working well at home but I thought he might come on for it and that maybe the five here might be a bit sharp for him. Hopefully he'll be a good sprinter this year for the lads who own him from Clane.

That's the ground he wants. I know he has been performing at the Curragh on testing ground but that's just his class getting him through. I thought he'd win a premier handicap but he ran into one in the Joe McGrath (second to Bubbly Bellini). Seven furlongs is his trip but he won't get a yard over six furlongs on heavy ground. If the handicapper gives him plenty he could go to Dubai and if not he'll stay here.

That is twelve winners for me on the flat, it's been a magnificent season and thanks have to go to Ger Lyons. He is a model of consistency for the yard. Seven furlongs is his trip but he wouldn't get seven furlongs on that ground. I'd go to Dundalk for seven furlong. It's great for his owners the two Joe's (the HB Partnership). They are from Clane so it's good to get a local winner.

he has been knocking on the door recently and was unlucky in a couple of runs when he was only beaten a few lengths. .Seven furlongs is his trip and Niall knows him well and gave him the perfect ride. We'll try to win a nice handicap during the summer with him and hopefully he'll pay his way for his owners (Joe Horn & Joe Bracken from Clane).
