We were a little bit worried that the trip might be a bit sharp from that draw but she was very good and Bill got her out. She learned a lot from the last day. She’s lightly-raced and was a bit green the last day but we knew she had improved. She was bouncing at home. She’s strengthened up a lot from earlier in the year and is starting to fill into her frame. We’ll keep coming here for the winter and she’s an exciting filly for us to have. She’s very tough and genuine, and getting her head in front the last day gave her confidence. She knows how to battle now as she had never been in a battle until the last day. Hopefully she’ll keep improving.

She had a real good run in a handicap (in March) and then didn’t run again between the Covid and she grew again. She’s a filly only coming into herself,. Bill was delighted with her and she handled the surface. She’s going to be a fun mare and she’ll stay a bit further as well. Her work was always good and we thought she was good enough to win a maiden last year but through immaturity and a few things it didn’t happen. She also got loose here one night and it knocked her confidence a bit. I think she’ll be a nice filly on grass as well. We might try her on good ground and then come here for the winter.
