he was to go to Haydock yesterday but was unable to travel due to the weather! . He ran well on his first run for us at Down Royal and was dropping back to two miles but the conditions were more testing and so is this track. He has an entry in the Welsh National but may not have a high enough rating to get into that.

He's progressing nicely. We have him entered in the Paddy Power at Christmas. The plan is to go there so hopefully he'll get into the race he might go up in the handicap just enough after that win.

This horse had decent point-to-point form but I thought he might need the run, he's obviously pulled out fitter than I thought. I trained horses a number of years ago and I took out a licence again last year. I have eighteen in, mainly point-to-pointers, and I'm delighted for the owners, the Kenneallys from Kilworth, who bred the horse on their farm,.
