To win on this ground with this fellow is fantastic because he is a really going to be a good ground chaser. He'll go hurdling now and then he'll quickly be sent over fences. He is a future National horse. He could be a horse for the four miler at Cheltenham.

The trip at Punchestown the last day (two miles) was too short and he had a nice light-weight on his back for that ground. He'll stick to longer trips now.

This looked a nice opportunity on paper. He is not back in that long and it is nice to see that he retains his ability from earlier this season. He is more at home at this longer trip - he is a staying novice really. The Barry & Sandra Kelly Memorial Novice Hurdle at Navan is an option for him - if I have him entered there.

He'll make a nice chaser in time but if he could win a winners bumper before the end of the season that's what he'll do. He'll go hurdling next season.
