Preview tipperary 18th Apr
Aidan O'Brien will be looking for his first juvenile winner of the season when Coach House lines up in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Tipperary.
Second on his debut at the Curragh earlier this month, the Oasis Dream colt is likely to prove hard to beat in this contest, which gets the card under way at 4.35.
Moss Nation was third on the Dundalk all-weather and may be the biggest threat, though Tommy Stack and Jim Bolger send out newcomers Treadstone and Heart Focus respectively.
Stack also has a newcomer in the Gathering At Tipperary August 22nd Maiden with Great Minds, but the greater racecourse experience of Charlie Swan's Bainne or Dermot Weld's Johnny Lynch could be decisive.
O'Brien fires two bullets at the Book Online At tipperaryraces.ie Maiden, with Leopardstown third The Vatican overlooked by Joseph O'Brien, who rides newcomer Victory Song, a half-brother to former Epsom Oaks second Wonder Of Wonders.
As ever Jim Bolger appears to have the biggest threats to the Ballydoyle duo, with Kevin Manning opting to ride debutant Teochrios rather than Bunreacht.
Bolger's Mona Brown returned to action with a victory at Dundalk recently and bids to follow up in the Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Handicap, but she faces a stiff test here, not least from O'Brien's Line Drummer and the Weld-trained Treasure The Ridge.
The biggest field of the evening comes over the minimum distance, so Cookie Crumbles will have to be on her mettle to get back to winning ways in the New Look Tipperary Racecourse Handicap.
A winner at Dundalk in February, Ado McGuiness' charge has since finished fourth on both starts and could just be in the form to fend off veteran speedster Fol Hollow and Dundalk runner-up Sassaway.
Connections of Monakova and Lake Louise will be hoping a recent run will springboard them to victory in the Follow TipperaryRaces On Twitter Handicap.
