< Erysimum thumped her rivals in the Join The 2016 Sligo Race Supporters Club Fillies Median Auction Maiden.
Willie McCreery's 8-13 favourite was bounced out in front by Billy Lee and never looked back, pulling further and further clear in the straight to win by 17 lengths from Zebgrey
McCreery and Lee made it a double on the card when Downforce swept down the outer to land the Durkan Bros. Electrical Gurteen Handicap.
Held up in the early stages, the 10-1 chance swept into the lead inside the furlong pole and ran on well to beat Ecoeye by a length and a quarter.< Orangey Red ran out an impressive winner of the Follow Sligo Races On Facebook Rated Race.
Leigh Roche was happy to track favourite Pinwood in the early stages of the race, and Dermot Weld's 6-5 chance was always travelling best, running on well to leave the market leader six and a half lengths behind.
Michael Mulvany's Prove The Point did the business in the www.countysligoraces.com Handicap.
Gary Carroll had to niggle along in the early stages on the 13-2 chance just to hold her place, but she galloped on remorselessly up the straight to beat True Companion by half a length.< Oiche Mhaith Boy completed his hat-trick in workmanlike fashion in the Kennedy's Bar Sligo Handicap for trainer Kieran Purcell.
The 6-5 favourite was handily ridden by Keiren Fallon and kept on strongly under pressure to get the better of Shamar by three-quarters of a length.< Mega Fortune produced a tremendous performance to land the concluding Guinness Handicap for trainer Andrew Oliver.
Connor Hoban was happy to be given a lead by Dewdrop but once taking up the running before the turn for home, the 8-1 chance charged clear, eventually winning eased down by 14 lengths from the pacesetter.
