Rock The World, left, beats The Game Changer

< Rock The World produced a thoroughly likeable performance when gamely seeing off The Game Changer to land the feature race at Galway, the Grade Three Ballybrit Novice Chase.
That pair dominated from the outset with the 11-10 market leader taking them along but he looked a sitting duck when The Game Changer loomed up with plenty seemingly left in the tank.
However, Rock The World was in no mood to lie down and found plenty for pressure, responding well in the closing stages and eventually passing the post two lengths to the good.< Bachasson kept his Cheltenham Festival dream alive when proving much too classy for his four rivals in the Deacy Gilligan Novice Hurdle.
The 1-6 favourite took his unbeaten record over hurdles to three with a bloodless display, travelling strongly behind long-time leader Rocky Court before breezing past approaching the final flight.
A fine jump there, probably his best of the round, effectively sealed matters and the French import was able to coast to a six length success.
Heavily backed flat recruit Tetraites made the perfect start to his jumps career when landing the opening race on the card, the O'Leary Insurances Maiden Hurdle.
The 11-8 victor was always in the box seat under Ruby Walsh and never looked in any real danger as he stretched clear on the run-on to score by nine lengths.< Diva Dawn (4-1) opened her account when foiling Dylrow in the J.J Rhatigan & Company Maiden Hurdle.
Waited with by jockey Paul Townend in the early exchanges, the recent Bellewstown runner-up came through with a well-timed challenge and put matters to bed with a good leap at the last.
Townend was to double up half an hour later as Steel Wave (13-2 fav) ran out a four and three quarter length winner of the Anglo Printers Handicap Hurdle.
