John Murphy's seven-year-old jumped well and was clear on the home turn before holding favourite Corrick Bridge who made up an astonishing amount of ground from the last, by two lengths.
Danny Mullins won Tuesday's big race on Rock And Roll Kid and he was again seen at his best when Fit The Cove took the Guinness Time Handicap.
Harry Rogers' 12-1 shot took it up on the home bend and then had a ding-dong duel with favourite Separate Ways with Mullins forcing him home by half a length.
