Davy Russell is mounting a fierce defence of his jockeys' crown and put another one on the board when Toner D'Oudairies took the Follow Us On Twitter At Fairyhouse Beginners Chase.
Russell, who now leads Ruby Walsh by 99 to 91, always had the Gordon Elliott-trained six-year-old up near the pace as Stradbally took them along, and he challenged for the lead two out.
Going away between the final two fences, the Gigginstown-owned 5-4 favourite held a clear lead at the last and jumped it well before galloping on strongly to beat Dul Ar An Ol by five lengths.< Wedding Present already the winner of a point-to-point and a bumper, made short work of the opposition in the Summer Racing At Fairyhouse Maiden Hurdle for the Sean O'Brien team.
Having his third outing over timber after two seconds, the seven-year-old (11-8 favourite) was sent into the lead on the run to the second-last and came away to beat Seskinane easily by 11 lengths.
The richest race of the day was the www.fairyhouse.ie Handicap Hurdle and it went to Tom Donohue's Followmeuptocarlow (16-1), who seemed to appreciate the step up to three miles as he won with some authority.
The hat-trick-seeking Rockyaboya looked to be going well turning in, but he was comfortably brushed aside by Richie Deegan on the winner, who stayed on strongly to score by two and a quarter lengths from Los Amigos
There was a dramatic conclusion to the Family Day 14th July Handicap Hurdle when leader Mac Tigue fell at the last, seemingly handing the race to Rafi De Triana but he slowed badly and Brian O'Connell swept past on John Joe Walsh's Push The Button (7-1) to score by a length.
O'Connell teamed up with the runner-up's trainer Liz Doyle to land the Follow Fairyhouse On Facebook Handicap Chase on Lord Alfie (28-1), who arrived late to gain a narrow advantage at the last before holding favourite Easy Vic by a head.
