< Brown Panther (14-1) landed his first Group One with a runaway victory in the Palmerstown House Irish St Leger at the Curragh.
Given an excellent ride by Richard Kingscote, Tom Dascombe's charge tracked Ballydoyle pacemaker throughout whereas the remainder of his rivals were happy to sit well off the pace.
Kingscote sent the six-year-old to the front turning for home and never looked back as he cruised to a six and a half-length victory, with odds-on favourite Leading Light grabbing second ahead of Encke < Gleneagles advertised his claims for next year's 2000 Guineas with an authoritative victory in the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes.

The 1-3 favourite soon hit the front and stretched one and a half lengths clear of Toscanelli in second.< Cursory Glance completed a brilliant weekend for Roger Varian and Andrea Atzeni in the Moyglare Stud Stakes.
Following their success with Kingston Hill in the Ladbrokes St Leger yesterday, the trainer and jockey picked up more Group One honours as the Albany Stakes winner made the successful step up to seven furlongs.
Having hit the front a furlong out, the 11-8 favourite was given a fright by the fast-finishing Lucida on his way to recording a neck verdict.< Stepper Point (9-4fav) gained reward for his narrow defeat in the Nunthorpe with a dominant performance in the Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes.
William Muir's stable star was soon in command and none of his rivals could live with him when Martin Dwyer wound him up, with the pair coming home two and three-quarter lengths clear of Sir Maximillian.< Tarfasha (11-10fav) bounced back from her Irish Oaks disappointment with a convincing victory in the Moyglare 'Jewels' Blandford Stakes.
Dermot Weld's filly took it up from Shell House two furlongs out and galloped a length and three-quarters clear of Chicquit
