< Rebel Fitz bounced back to winning ways in the www.racinghomeforeaster.com Hurdle at Cork on Thursday.
Michael Winters' charge was sent off a 9-4 chance under Barry Geraghty and he found himself in a battle with old rival Tarla who came out on top in the corresponding race 12 months ago.
Geraghty's mount was slick over his hurdles and had plenty left in the tank when asked to quicken past Willie Mullins' charge, scoring by 10 lengths.
Action got underway in the CIT Horse Racing Society Maiden Hurdle at 2.45 in which Mullins had something to shout about courtesy of Shamsikhan
The five-year-old gave backers of the 4-7 favourite a few heart-stopping moments along the way, but he gave Paul Townend his first winner back from an injury at the Cheltenham Festival earlier this month.
Mullins and Townend's bid for a double with Andiamos in the Best Dressed Easter Sunday Handicap Hurdle was thwarted by Mikey Fogarty on board Maguire's Glen (20-1), but Mullins did get a brace on the board when Killer Crow (10-11 favourite) took the UCC R And G National Flat Race.< Notification (8-1) held the rallying Deano in the CIT Students Union Facebook Handicap Hurdle for William Cronin.
The 10-year-old travelled like the winner coming into the straight and he battled hard to eventually see off Deano by three and a quarter lengths.
The UCC Horse Racing Society Handicap Hurdle went the way of Brother Clei.
The Daniel Murphy-trained, Philip Enright-ridden 8-1 chance was running from 1lb out of the handicap but he recaptured his best form and was all out to hold Globalized by a head.< Sonny B swerved alarmingly to the right approaching the last flight in the Mallow Maiden Hurdle, but Brian O'Connell got the 11-4 joint-favourite back on an even keel and he came home five and a half lengths ahead of Cuil Rogue
