Zeftan turned out again quickly to gain his fourth victory at the track in the Killashee Handicap at the Curragh.
Adrian Keatley 's charge had been fourth in the Ladies Derby on Saturday evening but those exertions obviously didn't faze him as he bounced out again to claim victory in the two-miler.
Danny Sheehy held the 9/2 shot up in the early stages before producing him to challenge passing the furlong pole.
He wore down front-runner Mandatario close home to gain a neck victory.
“I'm delighted for him. He seems to like the Curragh anyway,” said Keatley.
“He was probably a little bit unlucky last night. You could say Emma (Smith-Chaston) was a bit out of her ground but then Katie Walsh was behind her (on the winner). It would be easy to blame her but he was just a little unlucky.
“Hopefully we'll keep coming back here with him. There is no point going anywhere else. Any yard would be glad to have him.”
