You'll Be Mine wins opener
You'll Be Mine an eye-catcher over the course and distance in the middle of last month, justified her position at the head of the market when taking the Irish Independent European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden in good style.
Johnny Murtagh looked like he might struggle to get there for a stride or two on the daughter of Moyglare heroine, Quarter Moon, but once hitting top gear, the 7/4 favourite led in the final hundred yards and went away to win by a comfortable two lengths.
Successful trainer, Aidan O'Brien said: "She was still babyish. We'll go for the Fillies Mile or the Prix Marcel Boussac now. She'll have no problem stepping up in trip and after she ran the last day she looked like she'd progress well. The ground is beautiful, as good as I've seen it all year."
