Ruby Walsh completed a four-timer at Leopardstown today when steering Wrong Turn to win the Leopardstown Racecourse Handicap Steeplechase, combining with that horse's trainer Tony Martin for a second winner of the afternoon.
Walsh and Martin won the opener with Quickpick Vic before the eight times Champion Jockey had subsequent wins with both Hurricane Fly in the featured Irish Champion Hurdle, and Sure Reef
Afterwards Wrong Turn's win, Martin stated “the two horses found plenty from the last (Wrong Turn and runner-up Tabhachtach which blundered at the final fence) so you'd have to be very happy as it was a good performance; we'll have to go again with him!”
