The John Joe Walsh trained Denali justified strong market support (4/1 this morning in to 2//1f) when easily winning the Coral.ie Mares Maiden Hurdle at Gowan today, under jockey Adrian Heskin.
Heskin produced the winning daughter of Presenting to lead at the final flight and in the end scored a ready win over Legal Proceedings
Afterwards Walsh stated “she was due that, loves the ground and stays well.
“We'll look for a conditions race preferably a three-mile mares' race but two and a half miles is not a bother to her."
