Wate And Sea and she'll come good

Wate And Sea (20/1), who'd shown herself not to be devoid of ability on occasions in the past, struck on her initial outing in the sphere with cheek-pieces on for the first time in the Connacht Rugby Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe.
Much to the disappointment of the majority of Jackpot and Pick 6 investors, John Joe Walsh's daughter of Definite Article held off the late challenge of the favourite, Swantykay by half a length.
Walsh disclosed: "We had a lot of difficulties with her to get her right. She wouldn't jump the ordinary hurdles but she jumps the easyfix. We have them at home so I'd suppose that’s why she's used to them.
"She jumped them great today and she got a smashing ride from Adrian (Heskin). She'll probably go for something similar again.
"I think the ease in the ground helped her as well. She had a bit of form there in bumpers last year alright." (DM & EM)
