Champion Bumper horse Cousin Vinny made light work of the opposition when coasting home by 8 lengths in his maiden hurdle at Leopardstown.

Winning trainer Willie Mullins said afterwards: 'This was a big pressure ride for Patrick and he handled it well. The horse jumped fantastic and had to fiddle the last which is great as he will have to learn how to do that. I have an open mind on a lot of my better horses, but Cousin Vinny will step back up in grade now.'
