Tweedy gets her head in front
The Eddie Lynam trained Tweedy shed her maiden tag on the second time of asking when winning the Go Racing In Kildare Maiden.
Wayne Lordan who was doing the steering made all aboard daughter of Oasis Dream.
The pair kicked clear inside the final furlong to record an easy four and a half length win over The Mighty Atom
Winning trainer Lynam said afterwards: “She did it well. If you had of asked me leaving Fairyhouse would she have won here today, I would have said yes but then Fran [Berry] chose something else in the race so I wasn’t too sure.”
“We’ll stick her in handicap and teach her some more and get her going.”
