Willie Mullins brought up a treble at Clonmel with Turban triumphant under Ruby Walsh in the Patsy O'Brien (Glenduff) Memorial Chase.
In this extended two and a half miler, Rubi Light showed a lot of his old zip from the front, but Turban was delivered beautifully by Ruby Walsh to reel him in, and challenge in the straight.
From before the last the 2014 Dan Moore winner was allowed to stride on, and he eventually came home three and a half lengths to the good from Rubi Light.
Favourite Sadler'sflaure made a mistake at the tenth and never got in a blow in third, whilst Baily Green is a long way removed from his best at present and he filled the fourth spot.
Earlier a winner with the Gigginstown House Stud-owned and Bryan Cooper-ridden pair, Argentino and Roi Des Francs Mullins said: "It was an experiment going out to this trip as he'd never won beyond two miles one but his pedigree suggested he could.
"Dropping him out seemed to help get his confidence back and I wouldn't rule out a handicap at Cheltenham though he likes soft and might need a wet week. We'll also look at the Topham Chase at Aintree over two and three quarters." (TW & EM)
