Treasure Isle (9/4) made all under Ryan Moore to win the Qatar Racing & Equestrian Irish EBF Juvenile Sprint Stakes at the Curragh.
The No Nay Never colt, fourth to Babouche in the Anglesey Stakes on his previous start, broke smartly and saw off the challenge of market leader Shamrock Breeze over a furlong out. A new threat emerged in the shape of Saratoga Special but Moore's mount saw off that one by half a length, replicating his margin of victory over that rival at Naas in May.
“We're very happy with him, he's a fast horse and we learned that the last day,” said trainer Aidan O'Brien.
“57 seconds is very unusual up here for a two-year-old race. Ryan said the Flying Childers, he said he's very quick but he will get further too.
“He's a hardy, fast horse.”
