Tranquil Sea makes winning chase debut
Edward O'Grady's Tranquil Sea earned a quote of 10/1 (from 14/1) with Cashmans Bookmakers following an impressive winning chase debut, under Andrew McNamara, at Cork today.
The Grade 1 hurdle winner jumped well despite jumping to his right in the straight before scoring an easy four and a half lengths win over Baltiman
Afterwards O'Grady reported "thats as much as could have been expected of him on his chase debut and, although I was a little concerned with his jumping in the straight, he has a great appetite for chasing."
He added "the next logical step is to run in the Drinmore Chase at Fairyhouse."
