Tramore hopefuls Bopped by Without
Fethard-On-Sea, County Wexford owner Eamonn Wall and his partner in Without The Bop John Dollard from Kilmacow County Kilkenny, may have had to wait for their three-time point-to-point winner to realise his full potential, but the son of Broken Hearted looks to be on the right road now as he landed the Waterford Farm Relief Beginners Steeplechase by an easy fifteen lengths under Shay Barry.
The ex-Denis Murphy-trained seven-year-old jumped well in the main and galloped on strongly from out of the dip to account for Double Kudos and Rosiel
Winning trainer Eoin Doyle commented of the £80,000 Brightwells Cheltenham Sale 2008 purchase: "He was nailed-on for that if the handicapper was right (rated 109). He ran a great race at Galway and he will probably run again here on Sunday in a handicap."
Andrew Lynch, who got a fall from Seefin Dancer at the fifth last, was stood down for 24 hours.
