Tipperary passes inspection
Today's "Super Sunday" meeting at Tipperary will go ahead following an early morning inspection.
There was a further 5mm of rain overnight, and the going is now described as heavy on the Flat course and soft for the National Hunt racing.
The Group 3 Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes is the highlight of the Flat action, while over jumps nine go to post for the Grade 2 Friends Of Tipperary Hurdle.
There are also two Grade 3 events with First Lieutenant making his eagerly awaited debut over fences in the Like A Butterfly Novice Chase, and Steps To Freedom is among eight declared for the Dolores Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle.
The first on an eight race card gets underway at 2pm, and remember to arrive early as the first 100 racegoers get free entry. The gates open at mid-day.
