The Jim Bolger trained Star Power gained a third win in his latest four starts when battling to a head win in the Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Handicap at Dundalk today.
Ridden by Kevin Manning, the son of Galileo was made work all the way to the line by Carvelas
Bolger wasn't present but Manning later mentioned “he's tough, loves it around here and is consistent and never really runs a bad race.”
“He was lugging in on Shane's horse (Carvelas) but was always holding him and it was never a case that he was getting by me. He's won three times over two miles and that's probably in and around his best trip. I'd imagine he'll be kept going here.”
