Champion trainer Willie Mullins and jockey Jody Townend combined to win Tramore's concluding Garrarus Beach Ladies Bumper today, as Where's My Jet (2/9f) scored in the colours of the Two Lucky Men Partnership.
Previously runner-up on point-to-point debut and a good fourth in a Galway festival bumper for previous trainer Cormac Farrell in July, the Jet Away gelding had little difficulty defeating seven rivals, scoring by 3.75 lengths from runner-up The Last Drop
Townend, giving a tiny insight into the workings of the 'Mullins machine', reported "I hadn't sat on him at home - Rachel (Robins), who is leading him up, does all the work with him at home and has had a good week as it's the third winner out of her barn.”
She added “he was very good and was entitled to do it on his form. He settled lovely for me and to be fair he quickened out of the dip nicely as well. He gave me a good feel. He could only beat what was there but I liked him."
