Taaffe/Walsh take opener at Gowran Park
The opening race this afternoon at Gowran Park, The Red Mills Chase was won by the Tom Taaffe trained Glenfinn Captain under Mark Walsh.
Taaffe said afterwards, "He is a Grade Two horse what you see is what you get. He will have a little break now and come back for Fairyhouse and Punchestown. I think he will get 3 miles on better ground Mark [Walsh] said the ground is very bad out there."
