Sunset swoops late to score for Prendergast/Latham
The Patrick Prendergast trained Simla Sunset under Keagan Latham, arrived late to win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap at The Curragh today.
The daughter of One Cool Cat chased the leaders, before wearing down luckless Drombeg Dawn close home for a head win.
Afterwards Prendergast stated “Simla Sunset had good form for previous trainers David Myerscough and Jeremy Gask but I thought she had her chance running from her English mark here. She is game and consistent and will come back for another handicap on Derby weekend.”
