Jim Bolger saddled his fifth Ulster Derby winner as Stellar Mass thundered home to land the 100,000 euro handicap.
The 9/2 shot raced towards the rear and crept into the race before powering away in the final furlong to put a length and three quarters on nicely backed 100/30 favourite Manjaam
There was a further two and a half length gap back to Lieutenant General in third at 9/2.
Jockey Kevin Manning said: "We went an even sort of pace, travelled well in behind and picked up well off the road. I'd say the step up in trip is probably better for him.
"He has got some very, very good form between seven furlongs to a mile. He has been beaten by some very good horses in those maidens. The step up the last day brought out the best in him. He was entitled to do that."
