Steig who gave trainer Charlie Moore his first victory at Ballinrobe last week, struck again under Gary Carroll when claiming the williamhill.com-poker handicap.

Gary Carroll sent his mount clear over two furlongs from home and he maintained the gallop down the straight to record a two-and-a-half length victory.

Moore, who trains in Letterkenny, Co Donegal only has two horses in training.

"He'll get a break now. He's a very good horse and so easy to train. He's very quiet and calm," said Moore.

"He won four races in England before I bought him."
