Star one for the books in the last at Tipp
Star Councel (nearside) was too good for Chute Hall in the last at Tipperary

The layers needed some respite on this programme and Star Counsel s success in the concluding Season Finale INH Flat Race was one for the men and women on the boxes at Tipperary.
Jane Mangan 's mount was a 16/1 shot and she was noted going well from some way out. She might have drifted right close home but she was well on top at that stage, crossing the line three and three parts of a length in front of favourite, Chute Hall (every chance).
Successful owner/trainer Edmond Kent revealed: "I couldn't believe she was 16/1. She didn't come down the hill the last day at Downpatrick (3rd there behind subsequent scorer Time For A Pint).
"She jumps exceptionally well and she'll go hurdling now." (TW & EM)
