Stack on the mark at Tipp
Wickham Street from the Tommy Stack stable justified favouritism when winning division one of the Glenview and Rathbarry Studs (C&G) Beginners Chase in the hands of Mark Walsh.
Walsh who was always travelling well took up the lead just after two out and kept on strongly to record a nine length win.
Their task was made easier with early exit of second favourite Prince Roco at the second flight.
Fozzy Stack son of winning trainer said afterwards: "It was a big help that the second favourite fell early."
"He was a bit green at the second last but his jumping was good for most of it. He loves the fast ground, he finds it hard to get out of the heavy ground."
"We will keep him going throughout the Summer now."
