Moss Tucker (4/1) was prominent throughout under Billy Lee when winning the Thank You To All The Frontline Workers From Tipperary Racecourse Handicap.

The Excelebration gelding, a maiden winner over an extended seven furlongs at this venue in August, broke well from stall one and his rider was anxious to bring him towards the stands’ side as soon as possible to avail of better ground.

The winner soon led narrowly from the pursuing Linda Barrett before gaining a definite advantage at the furlong marker and he went away to win by three and a quarter lengths from Iva Batt who deprived the former of second place late on.

It was a quick double for Lee after winning on Cracking Name in the previous contest.

Winning trainer Ken Condon said: "That's him for the season. He has been busy and has gotten quicker and sharper with racing. He had a good start, he winged the gates and was able to get across. I think that was the winning of it as he controlled it from there.

"He has a very good attitude, we've asked him a few questions and it is great to finish off the season like that. He is big, tall and angular and will be a nice four year old to have in the sprint handicap division, up to seven furlongs.

"He handles most ground and is very versatile and straightforward. He is a simple horse as Bill (Lee) says."
