Sister Lola recorded her third win on her nineteenth start, as she took the opener at Dundalk, the dundalkstadium.com Claiming Race.

Successful over the course and distance in February, the daughter of Slade Power again got her head in front at Gowran in April.

Sent off an 11/4 chance this afternoon, the Eddie Lynam trained four-year-old raced in rear early under Ben Coen, taking closer order when pushed along from the two furlong pole.

She got a clear run through inside the final furlong and was ridden to the front with less than 100 yards to race, keeping on well from there to score by two-and-a-quarter lengths. Farnese (14/1) filled the runner-up spot under Gavin Ryan for James McAuley, while Burning Lake (13/2 from 14s early) was a short-head back in third. All Things Bright was sent off the 5/2 favourite but she proved very disappointing and finished last under Colin Keane.

Lynam said in the aftermath: "I weighted her to win and she's won. I think the second and third are rated in the 50's and she's rated 67.

"She's won three for us and would probably be a good claim for somebody. She got the gap, quickened up and did it well."

Sister Lola (E8,000) and Beleaguerment (E6,000) were both claimed by James McAuley.
