Silwana mowed down Hurricane Ridge at the end of two miles in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship European Breeders Fund Handicap at the Curragh.
This race was started by flag and Hurricane Ridge swiftly set out to make all. Venezia raced second with Winter Lion edging third ahead of Silwana.
This order was maintained until they raced for the home turn. Venezia then pressed Hurricane Ridge approaching the two pole. Winter Lion was gearing his challenge up down the outside in third while Silwana was getting closer to the leader in fourth.
Silwana got a split between Hurricane Ridge and Venezia on the run to the final furlong and under a Pat Smullen drive got in front close home to win by a neck at 5/1.
Runner-up Hurricane Ridge was an 8/1 shot. Awesome Star the 5/2 favourite, stayed on late for third.
Handler Dermot Weld said: "I don't know what went wrong with her the last day. She'll probably go looking for some black type next from a mile and six furlongs to two miles."
Silwana had come home 15th of 19 in a race over course and distance in May. Awesome Star had been second in that contest.
