Sikara routs rivals
Sikara added to a win on the polytrack at Dundalk earlier this year when ultimately routing her ten rivals in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap. Mamma Rosa made a bid for glory when striking the front early in the straight but she was soon tackled and headed by Sikara (5/1) under two furlongs out.
Shane Gray 's mount soon quickened clear and stayed on really well to beat Hadrian's Waltz (8/1) by six and a half lengths, with Mamma Rosa (8/1) another five and a half lengths back in third.
Gray said, “Everything just happened for her and she won well.”
