"He was impressive there now, he travelled away and jumped," was Dylan Robinson's reaction after Show And Go impressed in Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase at Wexford.
First time in the tongue-strap and cheek-pieces combination, Henry de Bromhead's top-weight was always up there and he led from the fifth.
The 8/1 chance went clear travelling well after three out and he was well clear at the last, in the end very easily defeating Port Rashid by fourteen lengths.
"The plan was to be handy and he was comfortable where he was. If he doesn't get too much for that he should have no problem in winning again," elaborated Robinson.
B. Browne, rider of Black Jewel trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped carefully and never travelled.
