Kevin Sexton had a day to remember at Leopardstown this afternoon when doubling up on Good Time Jonny in the novice handicap hurdle on the card.
Having rode his first winner at the venue aboard Royal Kahala earlier he was back in the winners enclosure three races later after conjuring another power packed finish from Tony Martin's charge.
The 6/1 shot chased down Mars Harper on the run-in in the two-and-a-half mile contest to record a two-length win.
“It was a good performance. He had me frightened as it was the plan to be mid-division but with lads like that all you can do is leave it to them,” said Martin.
“He said he wasn't carrying him the way he wanted and he just gave him a chance, it all worked out well. He quickened up well.
“Today has been in my head for the past three or four months. Unfortunately the boys couldn't get over, they were all set to come, but they'll celebrate anyway.”
