Seldom Fed causes 16/1 Roscommon upset
Paul Nolan's Seldom Fed surprised quite a few at Roscommon today when winning the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at 16/1, under a no-nonsense ride from Mark Bolger.
Bolger had the son of Mr Combustible in a handy position throughout, improved to lead three out, before recording a seven lengths win over Gallery Man
Afterwards Nolan stated “Seldom Fed has disappointed us in relation to the work he was doing at home and he was on one of his last chances today.”
He added “it was his second time wearing blinkers today and different tactics (racing prominently) seemed to work better too.”
