Rockazar stays on best
Rockazar landed the two mile one furlong handicap hurdle at Bellewstown in good style under Andrew Duff for trainer Denise Foster at odds of 10/1.
The gelding was produced at the last to collar tiring 2/1 favourite Clancy Strand and powered up the hill for a two and a half length success.
Winning trainer Foster was delighted with the success. She said: “It’s easy to train a horse that has an engine and can gallop. I definitely think there is more in him and he should get two miles two furlongs.
"I’ll look at Listowel next for him. Andrew rode him very well. He knows how to switch him off and the arrangement is that he rides him if the weight allows him to.”
