Today's crowd of 29,042 was the track's biggest attendance ever.
The total attendance at this year's festival of 106,689 was the highest recorded figure. The previous best for the week came back in 2008 when 105,669 enjoyed the blue-riband event.
The National Hunt Championship Awards were presented at the track today.
Willie Mullins was crowned champion trainer for the ninth time. It was also Ruby Walsh's ninth jockeys' title while Kevin Sexton was named champion conditional jockey and Patrick Mullins the champion qualified rider for the seventh time.
Going into today's meeting at Punchestown, Gigginstown House Stud led JP McManus by 14,207 euro in the race for the owners' title. However, McManus won the crown due to prize money won by Storm Survivor Florishwells D'ete and Plinth
