Total Reality got off the mark in good style in the opener at Limerick, running out an impressive winner under Keith Donoghue.

Denis Cullen 's charge was pushed along before the straight in the two-mile maiden hurdle but found another gear turning for home.

The Fath gelding scooted clear before the second last to put the race to bed. He could afford to ease down on the run-in to score by seven lengths from Peccatorum

The well-backed winner (11/8 into 11/10) was going one better today having chased home Ainm Spartacus on his previous start here last month.

"I'm delighted with that as he's been knocking on the door," said Cullen afterwards.

"He'll have one more run before going on his summer break. He hasn't had much of a break recently. Keith gave him a great ride."
