Ransom repays Tyner's patience
Last season's Champion Point to Point handler Robert Tyner registered a win at Clonmel today when his Ransom landed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase, under Philip Enright.
Ransom did benefit from the final fence blunder of By The Brook which eventually finished a staying on head second.
Afterwards Tyner reported “Ransom looked a serious horse when he won his point to point at Tallow as a four year old but severed a tendon on his next run. He was lucky to survive that but was such a good patient throughout the layoff.”
