Queens Brook is one of the leading contenders for today's opening Grade 3 Watch On Racing TV Quevega Mares Hurdle at Punchestown with trainer Gordon Elliott hopeful of a good run prior to sending her to Cheltenham.
The daughter of Shirocco beat Ciel De Niege to win her latest start in November and again faces stiff opposition today, including 2020 Triumph Hurdle winner Burning Victory one of three runners for trainer Willie Mullins.
Elliott reports “she'll probably come on a bit from it.
“I missed a bit of time with her and that's why I'm running her, to get her a run and get her to Cheltenham (for the Mares' Hurdle) but she will come on from the run.”
