Queen impresses in Killarney opener
The opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle saw an impressive winner in the Tim Doyle trained Queen Of Cool after she ran out a four and a half length winner at Killarney this evening.
Mick Darcy sent the 5/1 shot to the front three from home and the pair kept on well from the back of the last for an easy victory.
"I'm delighted with that performance, I thought she was impressive there", said Doyle.
"I was bit worried we were running her too quick after her Kilbeggan run but she ran even better today I thought."
"She's a much stronger filly this year and she's done nothing wrong. We'll try pick up a winner's of one now."
